Project Summary
The project was on a 6,000-acre ranch located in the mountains west of Montrose, Colorado. It was a Greg Norman designed golf course and luxury custom home development and we were hired to design and manage the construction of 16-acres of wetland mitigation on various sites across the ranch. Many of these sites were located in highly visible areas of the property, therefore the aesthetic quality of the construction was as important as the ecological restoration requirements. This project required careful coordination with the US Army Corps of Engineers to manage the 404 permitting for the construction.
