Project Summary

This project was located on a private 155-acre ranch outside of Fairplay, Colorado. We were part of a team of restoration specialists that enhanced nearly one-mile of prime instream, riparian and upland habitat enhancements. We also developed plans for a ranch entry gate, fishing shelter, and ranch roadway.

An interesting element of this project was seeing how the appraisal that was conducted after the restoration and enhancement work was completed nearly doubled the value of the property. This ranch is not only an incredible trout fishery, but the aesthetic improvements that are a result of the riparian and upland habitats make this ranch a model for our type of value enhancing work.
